Thanks Mum!

I have Monday-Thursday off and I'm totes going to make the most of it. I have never had a Thursday night off before so I'm soo excited! On a downside though, two managers of mine are leaving and it's quite sad :( they're probably the most down-to-earth leaders out there! All the best, Myra & Stacey! :)

Anyways, Chinese New Year is coming up and I'm.. working. Breaking traditions but oh well.. I will never understand how I spent $100+ each week. I really really don't. Spending on stupid crap is for one.. food another and all those 'omg I must have this' items really do add up :( Best purchase thus far.. that amazing 'Wish' kaftan and that stripey 'Bardot' maxi. Still debating whether I should buy the other one but.. what occasion! :(

I'm also one of the 20 finalists in Miss Vietnam Australia 2010 - LOL. Signed up for it when I was drunk but should be exciting I hope. Was supposed to have a photoshoot for a piece in the Daily Telegraph and Advance newspaper but I totally missed it :( boo!

DID I mention I was in Melbourne from the 2-8th of January?! It was a pretty damn good retail experiencee but I loved the trams the best hehe I still find them soo fascinating amongst other things .. It's a much more civilised city than Sydney I reckon - less chaotic? But I do love Sydney better, a much. much. better night life.

HORRIBLE BLOGGER

I'm such a douche for not blogging like I said I would :( I was just browsing through my blog today and it made me miss seeing comments especially ones that totally make my day. Reason behind my (surely un-missed) absence is work. I recently got accepted by 'Pleasure State' to become a Christmas Casual and now I'm a permanent casual employee.

The journey has been amazing. I've seriously met the nicest and most passionate girls in retail! I honestly can say, I love my job. For those who've never heard of Pleasure State omg seriously click here: http://www.pleasurestate.com/ It's a lingerie brand with freaking sexy designs. New 2010 collection.. oriental kind of theme and the couture label is BY FAR my favourite. I work pretty much 5 days a week so it's full on but totes worth it.

Anyways, I vow to not neglect the camera and post up photos by this week. Probably photoshoot tomorrow just before sundown and have a play with the new lens! P.s. Gossip Girl Season 3 is AMAZING and I hate Trip - he such an assholee !!

Just over a month of holidays left until uni resumes... so I must must must make the most out of it before I'm buried in my books to get a credit average :( Hmm.. what else is new.. oh yeah reached the 1.5years mark with my lovely bf hehe :) and I LOVE ONIONSS WITH SAUSAGES !! so long

I think it's been 2 months or more since the last time I signed into here. Feels as though I had my whole world turned upside down in an hourglass and then tipped back the right way.. and then occasionally it just tips back upside down again.

I really do comprehend the meaning of "you don't know what you've got till it's gone" now. I did before and then it slipped.. but now, it's reinforced so clearly; and not a day has gone by where I don't think about what I've got - the most generous family and friends I could ever ask for. But, I don't think a public blog is an appropriate place to explain why I've felt this way and just completely unmotivated to blog :(

Anyways, on the brighter side. I've finished exams and on an amazing 4 month holiday. Definitely will be filling it up with 3-4 part time jobs. Made a 'quick' list of necessities to have before 2010 hits and I have not had time to mess with the camera lately >:(

I gave my grandma 2 blazers I wanted to get tailored - one being a neutral-coloured waterfall blazer (Country Road) and a lacey one with a satin collar and sharp shoulders but I can't remember where it's from :( ok bedtimee. Adios amigos!

P.s Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors watches? They're both sooo pretty! I'm eyeing a few from Shopbop, Saks and Net-a-porter and there were a few from Macy's that I liked but I'd have to use a forwarding shipping service which is extra $30-$40.. not sure if it's worth it for just a watch :S

Made good use of my Sunday afternoon taking photos with my baby cousin - Linda. Lighting was exceptional. I've never seen such excelleeeeeent lighting - I'm in love.
Assessments and exam period (I actually don't have mid-sems this semester) so I'll be blog neglecting again yaaay.

14months is tomorrow. Bf's birthday and mum's birthday very very soon. Stereosonic very soon. Can't go DEFQON1 anymore. Friday night was spent @ World Bar, Kings Cross (again!) for Lauren's 19th :) First time up in chatswood for pre drinks - mm daquiris! Chuck photos in next entry.. oh and btw to Ren, I use a 450D with 17-85mm lens usually but this time I used wide lens so its a 24-70mm :)

I've jumped on the crazy hair photo bandwagon haha :) It took like 12937 attempts to pick a decent looking one where I didn't come off as looking psycho/stupid. So anyways, last Friday, I slept at 9am for the first time in 9123790 years and the friday before that.. my cousins' 21st @ The Vault which was funny because everywhere you looked, you'd see a spartan with white robes or a fake plastic chest lol.

And to "lily" who posted before, sorry I won't ever do a makeup post :( i really suck at it but basically I just used black & silver eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascaraa :)

So Friday night at the X was.. eventful, so to speak. 700ml of Kirov Vodka with 40% alcohol content between 4 girls in under an hour.. never. ever. again. It was a good night though; club-hopping from SOHO to Dragonfly. Music was dissapointing that night. But damn, it was one of the warmest nights ever! I haven't felt a warm breeze for so long! :( My jacket was useless and unwanted!

I also, unknowingly, bashed my toe into something.. saw the nail bleeding in the morning haha stupid heels. I love my sequin mini but hehe.. only because I'm a magpie who's attracted to shiny things now. So here's my night:

Some shots I took myself with the usual 17-85mm and Lauren finally found me the jumper I've wanted from Sportsgirl :D The orange and black turned up really well. Excuse the mega flash lol thought it was funny to post a photo of myself getting blinded.

Workload from uni is putting pressure on me badly. I have no incentive to study ahead like I promised I would :( But, I want that damn credit average at least. I think Spring is arriving early in Australia this year .. bushfire season is due soon too.

Can't wait to hit King's Cross on Friday night with the unigirls. Neglected partying for so long.. OH and Emma Watson for Burberry09. She's fucking amazing.

Vow to stay true to my blog and blog minimum once a week. So, since Friday 31st of July.

• Last Saturday was spent my uni girls raiding Surry Hills Markets and to our dissapointment, found nothing besides Lauren finding some hawt jewellery. Lunch at the Surry Hills Bar. Cried a river in Jodi Picoult's novel-based movie - "My Sister's Keeper" @ Market City. Dinner with baby @ "Pepper Lunch" on George St and skipped IMAX because of the neverending-almost-touching-the-wharf line.
  
  
  
  
  

• Sunday was spent doing my homework, pigging out at Tommy's little niece's 4th birthday and the back home to "study". Didn't get far since I got called a "dog" for ditching a friend's 19th dinner. Guilty conscience led me to a strip club in King's Cross called "Porkys". Hassled the boys + girl (Jennyfoo, Tommy, Kim, Porno, Ian, Steven, Leo, Eric & Peter) about their opinions on the girls and ditto - unimpressive. SO not energetic besides about 2 girls (not that I'm asking for more lol)
  
  

• Monday - almost missed my train to uni because of an "unproductively late" night. However, karma bit me in the arse and I slept on the train back (I had a 9am-6pm day!) and ended up in Glenfield. Ugh! Took me 2.5hours to get home in total. Angry!
  
  

• Friday was spent at uni in the morning. Watched "Ghost of my girlfriend's past" which was prettyy good! And, headed to SOHO @ King's Cross for the final "Ruthless" event. Missed out on $5 drinks and again, with the same strip-club boys & jenfoo. Can't wait to go there again for the musiccc.

• And finally, today was breakfast @ Yum Cha with him and replacing my lost sunnies :( oh yeah bought lotsa lollies.
  

• Finally found suede, pointy flats. I'm a happy child *minus getting barred from eBay..
